Concours de Procès Simulé en Droit International Charles-Rousseau

The Law School of AUTH participates in the International Virtual Trial Competition “Concours de procès simulé en droit international Charles-Rousseau”, which is organized in French, under the auspices of the Réseau Francophone de Droit International, since 1985.

The competition concerns issues of public international law. The participants produce their arguments before the International Court of Justice (Cour Internationale de Justice). The final stage of the competition is held annually, in May, in a different city/university each year. Written and oral submissions are combined to produce the total score.

Participation requires the excellent knowledge of French (for the preparation of the papers and the oral submissions) and the good knowledge of English (for research). In addition, participants (undergraduate and postgraduate students) must have attended and successfully completed the compulsory course “Public International Law I-General Part”.

Students interested in participating in the Competition shall contact Assistant Professor M. Sarigiannidis (ms@law.auth.gr). For more information about the Competition please visit the website of Réseau Francophone de Droit International: http://www.rfdi.net/rousseau.html.
